Steve “Hoss” Giannetti and John J. Jeannetti, co-owners of HDM Custom Vehicles in Warwick, RI, thank all the individuals and organizations, too numerous to mention, that contributed to the success of the recent unveiling by Grammy-winning artists Los Lonely Boys of a fully rebuilt 57 Chevy Sedan Delivery. After touring the country for a year, the car will be auctioned to raise money for First Candle, a national organization whose sole purpose is to connect parents, physicians and researchers with government, business and community groups to improve infant health and combat mortality rates. Last year, Hoss Giannetti and John Jeannetti proposed that HDM fashion an abandoned car into a signature HDM Vehicle to be auctioned off to benefit a charity selected by Los Lonely Boys. Los Lonely Boys—Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza from San Angelo, Texas who are currently on a national tour to promote their latest CD, SACRED— agreed and personally chose the model, engine and color scheme to reflect the group’s unique Texican Style.
The unveiling of the 57 Chevy kicks off the first of a series of philanthropic endeavors, Rock and Roll for Charity, sponsored by HDM Custom Vehicles. Hoss Giannetti and John Jeannetti have made support for philanthropic causes part of the mission of HDM Custom Vehicles. They feel that, in order to succeed in their venture to design, manufacture and distribute unique motor vehicles, it takes more than metal and muscle; it takes heart. Hoss and John are also involved in developing a network television series that documents their daily lives, troubles, endeavors and successes as they strive to meet their chosen mission. Los Lonely Boys, who’s mega-hit single “Heaven” reached #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, are involved in raising money for various charities. They contributed a cover of John Lennon’s number one single, “Whatever Gets You Thru The Night”, to Amnesty’s International CD, “Instant Karma: The Campaign to Save Darfur”. In addition to First Candle, Los Lonely Boys support other charities that help children such as Children’s Miracle Network and the Milagro Foundation. Most recently, they partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters—the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States—and First Act, a pioneer and leader in musical products, to share the gift of rock with at-risk youth across the nation.
Sincerely, HDM Custom Vehicles, |

PRESS RELEASE- July 3, 2007 WARWICK, RI – Grammy Award-winning group Los Lonely Boys and local custom car and motorcycle fabricators HDM Custom Vehicles would like to announce their collaboration on a new humanitarian event, Rock & Roll For Charity. HDM co-owners Steve ‘Hoss’ Giannetti and John J. Jeannetti will be resurrecting and dedicating an abandoned 1957 Chevy to the SIDS [Sudden Infant Death Syndrome] support organization First Candle. The car will be taken from a dismal condition and fashioned into a signature HDM Vehicle. The model, engine and color scheme has been chosen personally by the members of the band, meant to reflect the group’s unique persona and dedication to helping families recover from their loss. The vehicle itself will be unveiled on July 13th, before making a brief tour around the country in order to stimulate interest in and support for the cause. Profit proceeds, to be raised either through private or public auction, will be donated to the activities of First Candle. “Our goal with this vehicle,” says HDM co-founder John J. Jeannetti, “is to raise well over $100,000. It won’t be hard for a one of a kind vehicle like this to help First Candle make a real impact.” Los Lonely Boys Grammy Awards aside, the three young men of Los Lonely Boys (Henry, JoJo & Ringo Garza) have not forgotten their roots or their passion for making a difference, on stage and off. They all exude a palpable pride in making a difference and setting a responsible social example, especially by supporting their preferred charitable organization, which promotes SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) education, support & research. First Candle First Candle/SIDS Alliance is a national organization whose sole purpose is to connect parents, physicians and researchers with government, business and community groups to improve infant health and combat mortality rates. They have been recognized as one of the top fifteen children's charities in America, and as one of the nation's “top 100 charities worthy of donor support”. Specializing in custom car and motorcycle fabrication, the HDM brand serves as a vessel for supporting philanthropic causes. Founders Steve ‘Hoss’ Giannetti and John J. Jeannetti believe in encouraging the human spirit to thrive, and long ago decided to apply this belief through their love for building and delivering personalized machines. Located in Warwick, RI, HDM Custom Vehicles is celebrating their Grand Opening and is happy to present Rock & Roll For Charity as their first of many humanitarian outreach activities. “We’re all driven by Heart, and we like to put people behind the wheel. Not everyone can afford a street-legal hot rod, but everyone can afford to make a difference- either way, they get to experience something exhilarating which has the power to change them forever.” – Steve ‘Hoss’ Giannetti
